This app allows cardio-pulmonary patients to measure their fitness level through a six-minute walk test.The test can be executed outdoor and indoor.
A Nonin pulse-oximeter can be connected to the app to add more data to the test.Terms and conditions (shortened):
- the use of this app is restricted to patients of the pulmonary hypertension clinic of the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK.- this app is not suitable for healthy individuals or patients with other kinds of medical conditions.- if you are not a patient of the John Radcliffe Hospital and / or you don’t have pulmonary hypertension , you can still use this app, but no results will be sent to the hospital.- this app does not replace the normal communication between the patient and the health professional (doctor or nurse).- this service is not an emergency service and shall not be used as such.- the use of this service is allowed only under the prescription of the health professional.- the use of the service must follow the recommendations and the advice provided by the health professional.
